Stepping ForwardStepping Forward is about breaking the cycle of poverty - one life at a time.
Local Churches from Liberty & West Chester Townships have gathered together to form what we call the Faith Alliance to serve the people of our community in a unique program known as "Stepping Forward."
At St. Anne, we have volunteered to provide a hot meal, some career guidance, some music and fellowship on the second Tuesday of the month.
This outreach initiative takes place at:
Faith Community United Methodist Church
8230 Cox Road, West Chester, OH 45069
The program usually includes:
Community Dinner with Praise music and prayer from 6 to 7 pm
Children’s Programming from 6:30 to 8 pm
Referrals to other needed services from 6:30 to 8 pm
Life Skills Classes for adults from 7 to 8 pm
Faith Food Pantry will be open from 6:30 to 8 pm
Prayer Room will be open from 6 to 8 pm
The Life Skills Classes offered include things like basic computer skills, couponing, budgeting, exercise, nutrition and cooking classes. Each week there are different Life Skills classes to meet the needs of the families and individuals attending Stepping Forward. Stepping Forward and the Life Skills classes being offered have great potential to help local families step forward with their lives.
Volunteers are needed each month to serve food, clean up, stock the food pantry, oversee child care, and help where needed. For more information or to volunteer, contact Greg Cargill, firstname.lastname@example.org or fill out the form below.
