Adult Formation at St. Anne offers several opportunities for adults to explore and grow in their faith outside worship services. The brochure linked below lists the ideas for this year, although plans may change depending on our available clergy. Watch the Sunday bulletin announcements or "This Week At St. Anne," the weekly digital newsletter for updates on these as well as news about new offerings.
Current activities include:
Adult Forum: On Sunday mornings from 9:45 - 10:30, we explore a wide variety of topics, from the history of all religions to current topics of interest in The Episcopal Church today. The meetings are open to all and convene in Educational Building's Music Room. For more information, contact Patty Cargill at email@example.com.
Men's Book Group: This gathering of men (of any age) meets monthly on a Sunday evening at a variety of local pubs for spirited discussion of a recently-published book—and occasionally travel to a local cinema for the same treatment of a newly-released film. The titles range from deeply theological to best-seller/popular literature. Parishioners Bill Pearce, Baker Meyer and Rob Turley spearhead this informal—but deeply formative—gathering of men. For more information contact Bill at firstname.lastname@example.org, Baker at email@example.com or Rob at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Women's Book Club: New for 2014, the Women's Book Club has been formed to meet on a monthly basis for a lively discussion of a recently published book. For more information, contact Laura Kennedy at email@example.com.
