'Day of Change' is a call for people to glorify God and to help their neighbors in need.
On Sunday, November 2, we celebrate the change from daylight savings time by asking that you put your loose change (coins and paper) in the kettle pot located in the Narthex.
Your donations will go to the local community help agency, Reach Out Lakota. The Outreach Commission will also match your donations (up to $250).
You are invited to the Community Room to participate in the Outreach meeting on Sunday, October 26 following the 10:45 a.m. service. Snacks will be provided!
The 20th Annual All Saints' Procession and Alumni Celebration at St. Anne will be on November 2, and the children will again don costumes to represent saints of Hymn 293. Make sure your students are in Church School classes in October to be assigned a role.
This year, in honor of the 20th anniversary, we are inviting all alumni of the procession to join in the fun! Like and share the "event" on the St. Anne Facebook page to help spread the word to all who have participated in the All Saints' Procession in the past twenty years! We don't have all the addresses or emails from past students so we need everyone to share this invitation!
A parish potluck lunch will follow the service to celebrate this milestone!
Our October book selection is Robert Galbraith's (a.k.a. J. K. Rowling) latest detective novel, The Silkworm.
The group will return to The Dingle House on Sunday, October 26 at 6:00 p.m. All men - of all ages - who enjoy reading and conversation are welcome to join us.
