Sunday School
(Grades K through 5)

Sundays, 9:45 - 10:35 a.m.

Pre-K-Kindergarten (typically 4 and 5 year olds): Our new curriculum, Movers and Shakers, provides a variety of activities that help this age group use their curiosity to discover God's presence in their world. This hands-on curriculum offers a rich mix of age-appropriate actitivies centered on both Old and New Testament scripture. (Four and five-year-olds may also attend our Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program.)

First and Second Grades: Prime Time is packed with activities, crafts, and weekly lessons. At the start of the school year, our young students will be introduced to traditional stories in Genesis, followed by the stories of Moses, and leading up to the birth of Christ and the stories in the New Testament.

Third and Fourth Grades: The iExplore curriculum offers discussion topics to help this lively age group develop a relationship with Jesus. Children are kept actively involved in learning through games, art, storytelling, science and more! The students will explore both Old and New Testament stories.

Fifth and Sixth Grades: Living the Good News, an Episcopal Lectionary-based curriculum, is used for our older children. Students engage in activities that help deepen their connections to the church year, to the riches of Sunday liturgy, to each other, and to God. The classroom lessons will directly relate to Sunday service scripture readings, facilitating discussions and relfections between students and parents.

New students are welcome to join at any time of the year.
