For adults new to the Episcopal Church and infant children, Baptism is the sacrament of invitation into our faith community. God adopts us as his own forever, and invites our response of faith, which is a sacred, lifelong promise to "seek and serve Christ in all persons." Baptisms are generally scheduled for particular feasts throughout the year. These include Easter, Pentecost, All Saints, and the First Sunday after Epiphany. For more information about how to prepare for Baptism at St. Anne's please contact the parish office.
Christian marriage is a solemn and public covenant between a man and woman in the presence of God. In the Episcopal Church, it is required that one, at least, of the parties must be a baptized Christian. People desiring to be married at St. Anne's must be active members of the parish.
Funerals: Baptized Christians are properly buried from the church. When a loved one dies, contact the priest immediately. Arrangements for funerals should be made in consultation with the priest.
