Many newcomers ask, "How do I become a member?" One "belongs" to an Episcopal church when they pray there regularly, and give of their time, talent and treasure. We expect that in the course of their Christian journey, baptized persons will chose to be Confirmed. This is a public affirmation of faith, and commitment to the promises of Baptism by receiving the laying on of hands by the Bishop.

Adult confirmation classes are offered each year in preparation for the Bishop's Visitation. Those persons previously confirmed in the Roman Catholic Church are received into the Episcopal Church at the annual Bishop's Visitation.

If you are not new to the Episcopal Church, and would like to make St. Anne's your regular church home: If your record of baptism or confirmation is at another church, call and ask them to "transfer" your records to St. Anne's. You may also contact St. Anne's parish office with the name of your previous church, and we'll see that your records are transferred.

We receive you into the household of God. Confess the faith of Christ crucified, proclaim his resurrection, and share with us in his eternal priesthood. (The Book of Common Prayer, p. 308)
